Letter to Oliver

Dear baby Oliver, Why do you hurry  to grow up? Don't understand me wrong, I am glad and proud every time you do something new. Your noisy laughter melts my heart. The tender way you look into my eyes is just priceless. When you gently hold my hand it reminds me of all the times I have been thinking of you and waiting for you. Why don't you want to stop the time just for an instance? I wish I could keep the innocence in your eyes forever. I wish I could protect you from the bad. I want to see you growing a strong boy with a loving heart. I don't want you to get hurt in any way! Thank you for making me worth being called a "Mother". You have thaught me what patience is. You also help me understand that not everything should be about me. Your presence in our lives has made us better people. We can talk without saying any words. You are little but your heart is bigger than ours. There is room for everyone! This week you turned 8 months. 8 months of Joy, Love

So every time I was being asked what does it give you? I kept on answering that it is something that brings me joy, self esteem and pride! Besides that, I made up a list of more benefits, and I am sure that many other active volunteers will find themselves in this list. 1. I have met a lot of people. Almost each of
