Hello everyone, I am so excited about this post because Germany has been on my travel bucket list for too long. A few people know that 80% of my family lives in Germany. Despite this, I have never visited them before. There never seemed to be the right time. This February we have decided to change that for many reasons. One of them was my mother 50th birth day. This was the main reason actually. We wanted to surprise her and did not tell her we were coming. She was very impressed and we were glad we could make her such a lovely bday gift. Well, we got to Germany by car. It was a relatively long ride. 12 hours to be more precise. This was our 1st road trip longer than 4 hours and I must admit I was very anxious in the beginning. I had no idea how our Oliver would behave in the car. But I have prepared myself very well and I was ready to anything. Luckily he slept almost all the way there and we could ride in peace. He came on Wednesday, February 21. At 6:04 pm. It was almost spring, but after he was born it started to snow with beautiful snowflakes. Everything seemed unreal. We did not have too many difficulties  during our first year of parenthood. It was a beautiful year full of "first times" and discoveries. There were early mornings and late nights, daily walks and many many hugs and kisses.  I am sure that the best is yet to come. I want to thank my husband who is the best partner, dad and friend in the world. I wish us many many more years like this!  Happy birth day, dear Oliver! Thank you for choosing us! You have made our life better! You hav

Once a month I go to the library. Unfortunately I cannot go there more often, because the speed of my reading is rather slow lately. However, I love the world i find there between thousand of books. I insist on going there by myself because I get to be alone half an hour. And the time stops for a while.  There i am not a wife or a mother. There I am a girl who is looking for something to read. Everyone around me are equal and there is nobody better or worse. I never plan the books I borrow because there is something special about the unknown. I try to recognize the names of authors and books. I try to decide what to read.  I often have some inside battles. And then I end up with 2 or even 3 books to take home. I have not seen many libraries in my life ( maybe only 10 of them). But they have the same smell of books, and they equally tempt you to read.  You surely cannot resist to this! It is the place where I meditate. I discover. I  daydream sometimes. It is the corner where
