My dream world

I dream of...

A world where people don't divide into groups based on a color
A world where there are not natives and immigrants;
Where children don't get lost
And people don't go to bed on an empty stomach;
Where nature doesn't have a deadline
And animals don't die because of plastic
Where the governments actually DO what they PROMISE
Where presidents CARE for their people;
Where money DO NOT buy happiness  health;
Where women's voices are heard
And they are NOT DISRESPECTED just because they are not men;
A world where children don't know the meaning of the word "war";
A place where you are not judged because of the God you pray 🙏 to;
A world where families don't get separated,
Where parents don't have to go abroad in order to earn money!


Will I ever live to see this world? Probably not! Will my children and grandchildren see it? Let's hope that at least half of it will come true!

X reasons for why volunteering made me a better person

I have met the term volunteering when I was in the United States, and I had completed my first volunteering hours. It never felt that I was doing something wrong. I knew volunteering was for me from the first experience. After that, when I came back home, everything happened naturally. An impressive number of projects and ideas started to appear in my life. I didn't even have to look for them. Unfortunately there  are people who still don't believe in volunteering - to give your time without being materially rewarded. However I am glad to see that there are more and more young people who want to make a change in their lives, communities and maybe even countries. So every time I was being asked what does it give you? I kept on answering that it is something that brings me joy, self esteem and pride! Did you know that?! Italian language

 Dear Friends, How many Italian words do you know? I bet that many of you know at least 3 words. We use them more often then we think. Words like pasta, pizza or spaghetti have made their way to our vocabulary, and intend to stay there for a long time.  I used to love Italian ever since I was a little girl. It seemed so beautiful and romantic to me. Just like a melody. And now,  I am really glad to admit that Italian has become my 4th language. Of course, I don't speak it as a native, there is always place for improvement. But i am just happy to be able to learn it.  So, my post is dedicated to this wonderful and unique language. Don't think i am trying to convince you to learn it too. This choice is yours to make. I am just going to share with you some interesting facts about it. Here we go:  1. There are 21 letters in the Italian alphabet "j k w x and y" do not exist in Italian, except for the loan words;  2. There are many "regional languages of Italy".
