A day to remember


My dear friends, 

It is Thursday again and i really like the idea of writing throwback posts. Therefore i will do it again. Today i want to tell you about a day we have spent on the beach. Our 1st beach day for this season and of course baby Oliver's 1st time in his life!!! Those who know me well are aware of the fact that i am a summer lover; i like the Sun, long days and the trips to the beach. Although the sea is not far away from where we live, we cannot go there as often as we would like to. And everyday we go, i fall inlove with the view.  But I knew that this trip would be special because we have a baby now. And everything we do with him becomes SPECIAL.

We just couldn’t wait to show him the wonderful Liguria with its golden beaches and blue sea. I must admit that I was a little nervous about his reaction to a longer ride and to the heat. To our greatest delight, Oliver seemed to enjoy this adventure and he was looking around to discover so many things. Unfortunately,  I forgot home his pacifier and he missed it a little (or it was us who missed it more 😏). Despite this, I am really glad we didn't have any significant troubles during the day, and i cannot wait for the day we will actually let him go into the water. However there is no hurry, i still want to enjoy his baby-ness (i just made up this word☺).


Now a bigger challenge would be taking the plane with him, and since we have to do it really soon i will let you know how it went. Until then, have a great end of spring and take care of yourselves!

Dear baby Oliver, Why do you hurry  to grow up? Don't understand me wrong, I am glad and proud every time you do something new. Your noisy laughter melts my heart. The tender way you look into my eyes is just priceless. When you gently hold my hand it reminds me of all the times I have been thinking of you and waiting for you. Why don't you want to stop the time just for an instance? I wish I could keep the innocence in your eyes forever. I wish I could protect you from the bad. I want to see you growing a strong boy with a loving heart. I don't want you to get hurt in any way! Thank you for making me worth being called a "Mother". You have thaught me what patience is. Hello English lovers! I dedicate this post to you! I am glad that we have something in common. English language has become my 2nd favourite language in time (after my native Romanian of course). Unfortunately there is a sad thing about foreign languages: if you don't practice you can easily forget them. Not everything, but most of the words and phrases. Since I don't have the possibility to speak English as often as I would want to, I have decided to work on my own. Therefore I found some interesting sources, where anyone could improve his English.
