5 Movies to watch on rainy days

Image
Hello everyone! How are you doing? Are you ready for something interesting? I have been thinking about this post for a while now. Especially last week when the weather was so gloomy and when watching a movie was a "must". I like good movies with talented cast and interesting messages. As many other girls i used to be a "chick flick" kind of person, but lately i have changed my preferences. I choose movies which are inspired by real events, and those based on books. Well, as they say - You only live once, so why waste time on bad movies ?! I have prepared a list of the films which impressed me and i highly recommend you to watch them in good company 😉 So here we go: 1. Gone with the wind I am sure you've heard about it at least once in your life! What a story! I read the book and watched the movie  and even though the it is not a recent one, i still love it! It describes the life of American people during the Civil War - an important eve...

Last get away for 2017

Image
My dear friends, I am so thankful for your good thoughts and good wishes . It is such a pleasure to know that you appreciate my posts. Thank you for your support! Now I have bad news! The holidays season is over and we have to say good bye to our lively Christmas trees and lights. Why don't we have an "REPEAT" button so we can press it anytime we want to go back in time? Well, the good news is that today i will write about a wonderful place which we have visited last December - Saint Paul de Vence in France. People who know me and my husband well, are already aware of the fact that we like to "escape" from the routine. And once in a while we organize some romantic or adventurous get aways.  Unfortunately we seldom visit other countries, but we visit different  cities and regions near us. One of the greatest advantage of living in Piedmont, is the fact that French Riviera is very close, so in just a couple of hours you can be in Nice, Cannes or...

7 things to do when pregnant

Image
Hello there! How did your New Year start? Have you done anything interesting so far? I have the feeling that 2018 will be very special to all of us. I cannot wait to see what it will bring me! And if we are speaking about news, I have to admit that lately my FB wall has become full of wonderful announcements: proposals, weddings, baby bumps ❤   Amazing! It is really great to see how many changes happen to   our lives. I am one of those happy girls who has recently made a "baby announcement", and although I am so inlove with my baby bump I choose not to bother you with my hundreds of pictures that I take daily (Trust me, I could :D). However, I would like to mention that the passed months have been so special to me, I've started to do so many things which are linked to the pregnancy. I know that those who are pregnant will agree with me. As you have probably already understood, today i will write about the things that could make a future mom enjoy even more...

My 2017 Reading Resolution

Image
Hello everyone, 2017 is almost over and we keep counting the blessings which it has given us. I hope that this year was very special to you as well! This post, I would like to speak about books, and more specific the books I've read this year. Unfortunately the list is not very  long, but I still consider it a  progress :). Well,  my Reading Resolution for 2017 did not consist of a list of books that i wanted to read during the year, but of a number of books. Therefore I was free to decide what to read according to my mood. I have to admit that it is  a great idea, I don't like to feel that I MUST read something I don"t like. So i am not going to  bother you with all the books i have read, I have decided to make a list of the books I enjoyed and from which I could learn something useful.   1."Vara in care mama a avut ochi verzi"- Tatiana Tibuleac It is a book written by a Moldovan writer. I have to be honest, it is not a book f...

Letter to my teenage self

Image
My dear, I wish you could have seen this letter when you were about 16, when everything seemed so easy and difficult at the same time, when you felt strong enough and able to do anything, when you believed in any dream you had. Too bad there were things that made you sad, that disappointed you so badly, and nobody could protect you from that... Dear 16 years old me, please do read this and remember that it is never too late for a change: 1. Enjoy your school days, there will come a day when you will miss your Geography, History, and Biology class. ( Not math though, you will never miss that :) ) ; 2. Find time to read more; 3. Discover your country; 4. Spend more time with your family; 5.   Learn how to cook, one day it will help you a lot;   6.   Learn a foreign language, or at least try to do it; 7. You are not FAT now! Trust me, it will get worse :D, stop complaining about this!!!  8.  Exercise more, even if it seems boring. Do take that d...

REVEDERE

Salut!!!

How to befriend the wilderness?

Image
Hello everyone, the weather is not very nice today, and i keep thinking of the wonderful sun we had a couple weeks ago when we went for a short trip into.... the wilderness.  When i hear the word Safari, i think of the incredibly hot Africa, and hundreds of animals that i have read about in the library encyclopedias when i was a little girl. Well, we found out that there is a Safari park near our town, and since Monday is our day off we decided to visit that mysterious place. I did not know what to expect, and i could not wait to meet all of the animals. So, a short description of the park : it is a park located in  Langhe ( the vineyard hills i have described in a previous post). The park hosts a large variety of animals from different continents. And you just have to move around in the car in order to admire them. There are special posts where you can leave the car ( not near the lions though). I still cannot believe that i got to se...
